Metamorphosis
The branch of a tree is casted in sumi ink and then frozen. The proces of decay creates an image – its allegory to show that civilization can grow only on the cost of nature.

A word “Malum” origins from latin and has two meanings: apple and evil, it is most likely why the fruit from the biblical Tree of Knowledge was called Malum.
